Data Provenance & Verification
How raw trade filings, cross-border freight routes, and statutory legal registries are ingested, sanitized, and transformed into institutional decision-grade intelligence, starting with our foundational African pilot and expanding globally.
The 5-Stage Ingestion Pipeline
Corridor Crawler Sweeps & Public Manifest Telemetry
Headless connectors index public trade gazettes, maritime port filings, and public transport clearing declarations across key freight corridors, starting with our African pilot transit arteries and expanding across international trade routes on scheduled synchronization passes.
Statutory Corporate Registry Re-Identification
Extracted corporate names are cross-referenced against official national registries (including CIPC in South Africa, DCIP in Zimbabwe, CIPA in Botswana, BRS in Kenya, and CAC in Nigeria during our pilot phase, with expanding international registry coverage) to confirm active incorporation status, statutory registration numbers, and registered office addresses.
Global Legal Entity Identifier (GLEIF ISO 17442) Resolution
Entities engaging in international trade or cross-border financing are linked to their 20-character ISO 17442 Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). This unlocks parent-subsidiary trees and international sanction/compliance screening compatibility.
Direct Communications Verification (Corporate Email & Registry Attestation)
Our normalization pipeline validates company-level communications channels, resolving official corporate email domains and registered office contact switchboards for direct, authenticated operational outreach.
Algorithmic Quality Scoring (0% β 100%)
Each entity is assigned a composite Data Quality Score evaluating verified registration (25%), physical depot address (25%), validated operational contact (25%), and statutory LEI or web domain authentication (25%). No record receives 100% unless every single component is corroborated with primary official gazettes or registries.
Pilot Accuracy Benchmark
To ensure complete truth in data, CurrentDebrief conducted a rigorous manual and automated reconciliation audit across a stratified sample of 100 logistics and cross-border transport operators across our foundational African pilot markets (South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Kenya, and Nigeria). Each entity was cross-examined against primary government sources (CIPC, DCIP, CIPA, BRS, CAC) and GLEIF open data.

Statutory Data Source Authorities
Primary government registries and regulatory authorities integrated into our continuous verification feeds:
